These steak knives are solid and substantial, they are nice and sharp, and yet they were a bargain. They’ve also been through multiple cycles in the dishwasher with no discoloration. I liked them so much, I bought a second set!

90° Handle Scale Edges

Overall a very good steak knife set. The only issue I had was the sharp handle edges. No, not sharp like they would cut you or anything, just 90° plastic edges that, to me, give the knives an unprofessional feel. I rounded the edges off with an orbital sander and what a difference. It took less than 10 minutes for the set. Now I suppose I can call them "custom". The picture of the knives on the web site clearly shows rounded scales if you look at the magnified view of the edges but mine didn't come that way.
