Until you use one You can't appreciate it

Until you put one in your hand you don't know the difference. Pick one up and you will be amazed. The carbon fiber makes the gaff incredibly light yet amazingly strong. It has a great hook on it but the rigidity is what sold me. Quite often fiberglass gaffs have way too much spring and flex
It just works well
We use ours everyday on a charter boat. It puts the meat on the deck
