[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using measuring wheels for decades, and always breaking them year after year, this new one seems so much stouter than my current Milwaukee! As a fence contractor, we use our wheels daily over so many different terrains. This does exactly what it’s supposed to do, with no extra features to break. Has a very solid spline connection, that seems stronger than others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crescent CMW12 12" measuring wheel has already come in handy several time at work for an electrical contractor. It folds for easy storage in a truck box or behind the seat. The 12 inch wheel rolls easily on most terrain and the counter is at the top of the handle making it easy to read and reset. We have already bought a couple more for other trucks. This measuning wheel seems to be made very well to hold up to every day use. A great feature is the fold out kick stand so you can keep it in a standing possition when you let go to write measurements or look at prints. I highly recomend this measuring wheel for both contractors as well as homeowners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this for a few different projects I was working on. First, I needed to figure out how much fence and landscaping materials were needed to enclose a backyard. To test the accuracy I used this product and then a tape measure to compare the results. This product showed about 10 feet difference compared to the tape measure over the total distance. To see why they were different I zeroed it and rolled it next to 10 feet of tape. It was about 1.5 inches different over 10 feet. When doing hundreds of feet of fence that difference can add up. Was it close enough for what I was doing? Yes. I was also contracted to trench new electrical service to a garage. This product did fine estimating the amount of cable needed. It was very handy because the trench was not a totally straight path and doing curves with this is easy. Some other things I like: The way it folds down into a shorter length makes it much easier to haul around. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the kickstand but it proved to be solid and not flimsy like I thought it might be. The only reason I took away a star is the difference in distance compared to a tape measure over an extended distance. For estimating, this product is good enough but if you want better accuracy you might want to find another method. With that said, I would not hesitate to keep using it for future projects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This CMW12 Surveyors wheel helped survey distances that our typical handheld laser tape measurers could not reach. The surveying wheel is very lightweight and easy to use. The distance measures in feet and inches, and can easily be reset at the push of a button. This tool performed as expected and added an extra convenience factor for long distance measurements on flat terrain. I was pleasantly surprised at how the overall length folded in half to more easily transport in my car. The latching mechanism made it easy to fold/unfold.
