Handled live wires while working with these pliers with not an issue. The only down size for me was they were a little short for my hands.

These fit my pouch a lot better than the 8” and I can do everything with them, if maybe just a little harder in some cases, but well worth the trade-off for the small size. These are going to be very familiar to anyone who uses linesman’s, nothing revolutionary there, but they are well done and they seem like they will last a long time.
