- A: You can use the part in question for marine fuel purposes, but over time exposed to water there will be rusting. Depending on whether it would be used for fresh or salt water will impact how long that would take. As for if that part is available in brass, unfortunately it is not offered with the swivel on the female end.3 years agoHelpful?
