- A: No. Many of our customers can go 3-4 days sometimes longer. Depends on the quality of the pellets, how many feet and the direction of the exhaust piping, internal cleanout ports cleaned etc. If you have the ideal setup for the exhaust and good quality pellets you should go 3+ days.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Does the fresh air outlet need to be installed as well as the regular stack on the HP50S? I don't have direct access unless to the outside from where it needs to be.

Awesome little pellet stove and love how a temp can be set on this stove, unlike a normal wood burning stove. The pellet stove with a temp controll board helps from over heating the house and keeps the home at the temp setting you desire

It’s been fairly warm so I haven’t had the stove fired up more than a few times. However, the stove fired right up and worked perfectly right out of the box. The operating manual is a little confusing though as is the menu. But, so far so good!!

been running it for about 2 months now and no issue's so far. puts out great heat even on 1. on eco mode so far is working good keeping my house up too temp no problem. great stove for the price my house is 2 level and 1100 sqf pleanty warm.

The HP50S stove is very well built and performs outstanding. Super quick and easy access to components. Very simple setup and programming on the controller. I’ve only had it running for about a week now. My house is a 1800 square foot split level and the HP50S (installed in the basement) heats it to 70*f in manual mode on #3 setting at 30*f outside air temperature.

Over all love it! Only minor complaint, design wise, is that if you want to run the exhaust straight up, you have to buy an extender due to the location of the control panel.

Stove is great for the price. Only just installed so difficult to say on issues but it looks great and started up bo problem. Easy install too, we are looking forward to using it as suplemental heat in the winter. Rated 4 only because we havent had a winter with it yet.

This stove is beyond wonderful. We replaced a 30 year old manual light stove and our lives are forever changed. It is very efficient in its use of pellets. Some reviewers said it was noisy but that is not our experience. We heat 1000 sq ft on manual level 1-3. In the middle of January with below zero temps we would probably still not need to run it any higher. One button to turn it on and one button to shut it down. Arrived to our house by freight and there was a note inside the crate from the company thanking us and assuring their dedication to quality. Lots of videos online. Buy this one or another ComfortBuilt.

I have been using my HP50 Pellet Stove for approximately 1 month. I am amazed at the ease and sophistication of operating this modern Comfortbilt Pellet stove. Of course, I've had to learn the maintenance routines. So much easier than a wood fireplace! AND the Comfortbilt phone techs were amazing! They answered all of my rookie questions over the phone!

This stove is sooooo easy to maintain. I bought this stove to replace an older stove and this is so much easier to clean and I just push a button to get the stove to light. Wow it's wonderful!! I love how you set the temperature you want. It's perfect!!!
