The nostalgia is real, and it performs perfectly

I grew up camping with one of these. My dad taught me how to use and take care of it when I was very young, and it became my job to light the lantern whenever it started getting dark. The build quality is perfect. The light it gives off is warm and bright. I pumped it up and put it on low in the middle of our table and it burned all night, was great low light for middle of the night trips to the bathroom. The only note I have is WATCH OUT FOR THE METAL NUT ON THE TOP Me being groggy in the morning sat my hand right on top of it and it was still quite hot.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Crappy lantern

This was for a camping trip to celebrate my 66th birthday. It didn’t work . The gas would not flow, it pumped up okay, I had pressure, just wouldn’t release it when I opened the valve. Very disappointed. Coleman used to be good . Threw it away in disgust
