Trailer Gate pin repair kit

The gate pin repair kit fit well however the diameter of the pin was larger than the opening in the striker so we had to grind it down to fit.

Poor quailty

I have a TSC trailer I bought new a few years ago. The one downside of this trailer are the poor quality latches. So far I would estimate that I have replaced the left side latch 3 times (the first replacement being about a month after I bought the trailer). And the right side has been replaced twice. On the last failure the pin did not disappear as the others did. On this failure I could see that the bolt broke at the retaining pin as noted in other reviews. In between the replacements I have used a ratchet strap to replace the latches which is pitiful b/c it looks so janky. Do yourself a favor, do not buy these replacement latches, the will inevitably break and it's a waste of time/money using these low quality replacements.

very poor design. Weld joint is terrible. Did not even use is. bought another pc. to rig it to work!

trailer gate pin

This trailer pin is a poor design or it wouldn't need replaced so often. The 4 self tapping screws that were no more than 1/2" long were laughable as a way to attach the gate pin to the trailer. I paid a welder $ 80 to attach it in a way that will hold.
