Q: With this kit witch brakeway kit do you get shows three different boxs in the Pictures. What one am I ordering?

  • A: Hello, thank you for your question. The second image shows what will be in the package. Third image is a close up of the battery box and breakaway switch with pin and cable (included in package). The other two following images are in use/lifestyle images of the Breakaway kit mounted and push to test battery button. The first image on the page is showing an older model that is no longer accurate and we are requesting to have that removed. Hope this information helps!

Q: Is this a one time use?

  • A: This should not be a one time use. If the trailer Breaks Away from the tow vehicle it could damage some parts and there are replacement parts available.

Q: How would do you replace just the battery without buying the whole kit again?

Don’t waste your time

No instructions and missing pieces. Wouldn’t even waste my time with it wish I knew and when you get the instructions or if you even do (took me almost 2 weeks and 3 emails) very poorly written. Ended up just returning it and getting one from AutoZone
