Needs drawstring and better zipper

Overall good coat. Stayed warm in the 20's. However, the coat does not have a draw string at the waist nor bottom edge which would make it much warmer. My old Carhartt is 10+ years old, also fleece lined and is a lot warmer. The zipper needs to zip more at the top. It allows too .much wind to blow down the front of the jacket.

Not thrilled.
I have two other Carhartt coats and a vest that I like better. As I've aged weight and bulk has been gained. Hence I bought this latest larger Carhartt coat. It fits fine once I get it on but I have only worn it two or three times. The problem is the zipper. Where on my older coats I can zip it up based on feel ... without having to look at and adjust both sides to get it started. Age, dexterity and eyesight may be a factor. The zipper appears smaller and the fabric is stiff and in the way.
Otherwise the coat would be great.
