Neck is not what it used to be

I've been buying the K87 T-shirt for ~20 years. Always loved it until the most recent batch has loose, stretchy neck lines that were too big and were much less firm in their shape than past purchases. Looking at the tags/labels, all of my older versions have "Original Fit" in them while these newer ones have "Loose Fit". Why would you change the fit/make of a shirt and call it the same item#?
