Each ATV all-purpose spreader has an enclosed 12V motor mounted inside of the hopper and a manual feed gate regulator, so you control how much material is used. The power switch and all controls are easily accessible from the seat of your ATV, letting you do the job from start to finish without getting off your vehicle. The included rain cover fits over the hopper and protects material from the elements. This unit requires minimal assembly with basic "kitchen tools". Since rear racks for ATV units are not the same some ingenuity is required for the mounting of the seeder to the ATV. We can't expect the provider to have a version for all ATV's ever built. The seeder works very well and that's what it is all about. A great value for the price and quality of product. Just buy it!

I agree with another review that this spreader was awkward to install and I also had to rig it to fit my ATV. However, I've used it for three years now and it has worked well in spreading seed, fertilizer and lime pellets.
