Buyers Products EZ Gate™ Tailgate Assist reduces physical strain when lifting and lowering heavy trailer tailgates by up to 90%. The spring-loaded mechanism mounts to your trailer's side rail and attaches to the tailgate, taking most of the gate's weight off the user's hands. It also leaves the other side of the trailer open for equipment racks and other rail-mounted trailer accessories. The EZ Gate works on most open utility trailers with square or round tubing and a side rail height of 12 to 18 in.. One kit will handle gates up to 180 lb. The EZ Gate is made of heavy duty steel with a black powder-coated finish to protect against corrosion and wear. It includes all necessary hardware for fast and simple installation.Perfect for Use on Landscaping Trailers and all other Open Style Trailers! Single Rail Mount Design Leaves the Other Rails of Your Trailer Open for Use!

    Really a nice product easy install had to hunt around for different bolts and spacers..it is made for a tubular framed trailer I have angle iron sides no big deal..only real problem I had was the clamps that hold the tube on the trailer were a little small bolts didn't seat right..

    Yes, I recommend this product.
