The truck steps have a black powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and fold away when not in use. The truck tailgate step mounts beneath the bed of the truck with an "L" shaped bracket and has a .563 in. diameter mounting hole.

Q: Do the legs contact the ground? or what is the extended length of the legs? Do the retract? or in what position do they stow?
3 years ago- A: Hey there, Thanks for you question. It will not contact the ground unless your truck is really low. Hey dont retract it slides under your truck into a mounting bracket for storage. The mounting frame is 3" tall, 3" deep, and 15" wide. From bottom of mounting bracket to bottom of step 11" extended.3 years agoHelpful?
