The Bosch Hammer Drill with Case delivers outstanding performance-to-weight ratio. It is a 4.1 lb. hammer with a 7.0 Amp motor that produces 0-48,000 no-load blasts per minute and no-load drilling speed of 0-3,000 RPM. This drill supplies a 360 degree locking auxiliary handle with a built-in, quick-release depth gauge. This easy-to-handle drill has a dual-mode selector, which easily converts the tool from rotation-only to hammer-drill mode. The variable-speed trigger with reversing allows accurate bit stars as well as removing fasteners, as this tool has a metal front housing for longer life and a heavy-duty keyed chuck for secure drilling. This hammer drill works with Bosch PRO+GUARD dust system to help users move toward OSHA Silica Table 1 dust compliance.

Fails to perform its base task.

Bought less than a year ago in advance of some renovations for this year. I used it this spring to install 2" tapcons in concrete brick. After drilling less than thirty holes I could smell the brushes burning and then the drill failed entirely. This is the basic function of this tool. I paid more for the brand that should deliver for this task and am thoroughly unenthused that this tool failed immediately.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Gazebo - Mounted some anchor bolts with ease.

Purchased to mount concrete screws & anchors for a Gazebo installation. Worked great. Now I have to remove a concrete fence post footing that I need to demolish and it is the best tool that I actually own, for the job. Instead of renting something for a quicker finish, I am choosing to use this hammer drill and same some money.

Made 2 holes and then doesn’t work anymore

Don’t buy this drill .. it s garbage ! I bought it for light duty work as using tapcons to hang frames in a brick wall then smelled like burnt , then nothing , the drill is new . I bought Bosch as I know they are the reference in hammer drills but not in this one as it s a disposable drill , more scrap to the wasteland and more money wasted on an unreliable tool ..

Does what I need

My boss had this sitting and collecting dusk when I asked to use. To date I have mixed 30+ buckets of thinset and mortar. Then I used it to drill into concrete brick to anchor a hood. Over the weekend I drilled into porcelain tile to mount sliding door track. It doesn't look new anymore, but still works great. I did lose the chuck key and could use the dimensions to replace.

Yes, I recommend this product.
