I received the stove intact. The manual is lacking is some detail. There is a 6 volt power supply that plugs into the wall that was included with no mention in the manual on how to use it. It was assumed to plug into the back with the 6 volt connector. There is no description in the manual to say that it overrides the power from the 4 AA batteries or if you need batteries or not if you plug it in.
Next, the unit emits a high pitch screech sound with heating settings between low and high for the heater I purchased. Fortunately, it is not perceptible with my hearing but my kids complain that it is annoying. At minimum heat or maximum heat settings it is not heard by my kids.
Yes, I recommend this product.
