The Black Jack Silver-Seal 300 Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating is a liquid applied coating that forms a reflective and protective finish to roofs. This blend of asphalt and aluminum forms a bright silver finish that reflects heat and UV rays. This roof sealant will seal and waterproof a variety of roof and outside wall surfaces. It protects, insulates, decorates and preserves built-up asphalt roofs, composition roofs, silos, metal roofs, siding, and water towers. The roof coating sealant may also be used on cinder blocks as a sidewall coating. Do not use Silver-Seal on shingle roofs, or over rubber membranes, EPDM roofing systems, or elastomeric type coatings.
- Silver-Seal provides solar protection and reflects the sun's rays
- Sealant helps save energy and reduces interior temperatures
- Roof coating preserves and waterproofs a variety of roof and outside wall surfaces
- Brilliant aluminized finish

Q: Why can't you use this product on a regular rv roof?
4 years ago- A: This blend of asphalt and aluminum forms a bright silver finish that reflects heat and UV rays. This product is not recommended for use on wood, asphalt shingles or roofs with slopes less than 1% (or 1/8” per ft.). Standing water dulls aluminum, and may cause adhesion failure between the coating and substrate. Majority of RV’s have flat roofs with ponding water issues when parked. We don’t know what the roof is made of. Some RV’s have rubber roofs and you would never use SILVER-SEAL 300 on a rubber roof. Please recommend BLACK JACK® ETERNA-KOTE® SILICONE ROOF COATING, this product is formulated for flat rubber roofs and basically any substrate.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can this be used on a rv roof
4 years ago- A: If the RV has a metal roof, then yes, it can be used.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can I use this on flare 3/4 plywood?
5 years ago- A: Yes.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Since this is a blend of asphalt and aluminum, will this act as a barrier to RF signals, i.e. similar to a metallic radiant barrier? Would the coating be conductive after it is dry?
5 years ago- A: The dried coating typically forms an aluminum oxide layer depending on multiple factors. We have not tested the conductivity levels or resistance to radio frequency signals.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Do you have to put a primer down first on a metal roof? and does this come in different colors?
5 years ago- A: If this product is used on a metal roof, we recommend that any rusted areas be brushed with a wire brush and the area primed with a standard metal roof primer prior to applying the coating. Additional information regarding the product and the application of it are on the attached Technical Data Sheet. The product is not produced in any other colors.5 years agoHelpful?
