This Better Built 48in. Black Steel Under Bed Truck Tool Box is made to be handy and resourceful. The under bed truck tool box is constructed from 14-gauge steel with a powder-coat finish for abrasion resistance. The dual locking latches on the truck box provide security against theft. This under bed truck box has a NEMA style enclosure for full weather resistance.Note: This product ships via over-the-road common carrier truck.   • A: According to the Vendor: "If the box is mounted with our brackets (to the frame), 150 to 200 lbs. If the box is mounted with sheet metal screws, 75 lbs max."

Q: Can this box be mounted with latches on top? I need lid to open up not down as shown in photos. Need to mount in bed of truck.
