A mini hacksaw is a compact and lightweight tool primarily used for cutting in tight spaces where a larger hacksaw wouldn't fit or maneuver easily. A mini hacksaw is useful for tasks like cutting PVC pipes, metal tubing, small metal rods, wood dowels, and other materials in confined areas, such as under sinks or inside cabinets. The Beta 1725CR model hacksaw accepts small 6" (150mm) hacksaw blades. An exposed wingnut at the back end of the frame lets you adjust tension on the blade and provides for quick blade changes. The one-piece steel frame is powdercoated Beta Orange with a black padded handle for comfort. Includes one steel blade (Beta No. 1728LA). The hacksaw is made from sturdy aluminum alloy and measures 9.84" (250mm) long with a 5.9" (150mm) long blade.
