Beta's 1777MQ insulated cable stripping knife for electrical work has a curved blade for effortless stripping and slicing, ideal for PVC, rubber and multi-core cables. Beta insulated tools are safe for use on electrical systems up to 1000V AC (1500V DC). The design meets EN 60900 specifications and each tool is subjected to the following stringent tests: handle resistance to slipping and flame propagations, and high voltage test (10000V). This knife, measures 7 1/2" long and comes with a plastic sheath for safe storage.

  • VDE-Certified Insulation - Rated for electrical work up to 1000V AC for user safety, ideal for electricians working on live or potentially energized circuits.
  • Specialized Blade Geometry - The curved hooked blade is designed to strip outer sheaths of multicore cables cleanly, minimizing the risk of nicking internal conductors.
  • Ergonomic Non-Slip Handle - Provides a secure grip even with gloves or in damp conditions and reduces hand fatigue during repetitive stripping tasks.
  • Integrated Thumb Guard - Enhances control and protects fingers during slicing motions which improves safety when working in tight or awkward spaces.
  • Optimized for Multicore Cable Prep - Designed to strip outer jackets without damaging internal wires, ideal for control cables, data lines, and power bundles.
