The self-retracting 1692 series of lockable measuring tapes from Beta Tools feature an impact-resistant plastic case with a steel tape. The spring-loaded tape retracts automatically. Push down on the thumb-operated rocker on the front of the case to positively lock the tape in place. Black and orange case with yellow tape. This 2-meter tape has markings in meters, centimeters, and millimeters (no SAE units). 16mm wide tape, Precision Class II.
