The Beta 1201E/DZ quick turn screwdriver is for use with countersunk (flat head) Dzus quarter-turn fasteners. A Dzus fastener, also known as a quarter-turn or quick-action panel fastener, is a proprietary cam lock fastener that provides a quick and secure way to attach panels, particularly in applications like aircraft and vehicles where frequent access is needed. It engages and disengages with a simple quarter-turn motion. The ergonomic bi-material handle design fits the palm of the hand perfectly for a secure comfort grip and maximum force transmission with minimum effort. The shank is chrome plated, with a phosphate-coated tip for increased traction in the screw slot and protection from oxidation. The style and size of the tip is printed on the round cap for quick identification and there is a hole for hanging on a pegboard hook or a lanyard for easy access and storage. This quarter-turn screwdriver is 6 13/16" long overall with a 2 1/16" shank.
