Ergonomic design.

Having run a cow calf operation for 25 years, I occasionally run into issues where I have to tube or bottle feed a calf. I like the new design as the bottle as much easier to hold and control, the nipple works at least as well as the old style square bottles. A little karo syrup on a finger, then the nipple the bottle, and usually that's the end of the drama. I gave my last one away to a customer, now I have to go buy another one, I refuse to use the four square bottles that I have in the barn! Sometimes, with the square bottles, a calf would bite the nipple and rip it right out of the bottle. I can count the number of times that happened on a single hand but it was irritating when it did.

This piece of junk leaked on the top & bottom! I had milk everywhere but in my calf. I'm not sure what other reviewers did differently. But I tried everything. It's a hard "pass" for me

Incorrect item at pick up

When I went to pick up the calf nipple and bottle from the store, they were not the items I purchased on-line. I even show the associate the picture from my order confirmation the items were not the same as they had picked for my order which was a white calf bottle with a red nipple. I was attempting to try a different nipple and bottle for a finicky calf and what they were trying to sell me was the same bottle and nipple that I had. No reason to purchase another of the same thing.

BEST CALF BOTTLE MADE!!!!!

Been calving beef cows for 40 plus years now and this is by far best designed nipple and bottle I have ever used! Mine does not have bottom opening just top and have never had a problem leaking as others have had. Love that nipple regulates milk flow as only suction from calf allows milk flow. As others have mentioned prevents calves aspirating milk into their lungs. Give this a try it's the best version out there.

Awesome product as far as bottles go

Best bottle we have found. We tried others and found not only that others are mostly square and hard to hold, they also are not vented which when the calf nurses on the bottle it pulls a vacuum so you are constantly opening the top to equalize the pressure so the calf can get more milk. THIS ONE HAS A VENT that takes care of that issue. It also has an hourglass shape and a handle which makes gripping much easier. It has openings on both ends which makes cleaning a snap. The only negative was I had to do a search on how to get the one way valve out of the nipple and of all places I found it on a product review on the largest e-commerce company in the world. It starts with an "A". Very easy to do after you know the trick. For some reason TS didn't like my review with that other company name and kicked it back.

Poor quality

This bottle is junk because the screw on bottom cracks. If you tighten it tight it cracks. If you dont tighten it tight it leaks. I guess I am not a very smart man because I have bought six of them and all but one the lids have cracked. I kept thinking it was just a bad lid. Stay way from these.
