- A: Typically, you would not want to use solder with stainless steel. Welding would give a much stronger bond, and depending on the application, is going to be a significantly safer binding method.5 years agoHelpful?

- A: We have included the manufacturer's response below: I would not use metal work solder for Stainless steel. Welding holds stainless steel parts together best. You can silver solder stainless to itself or to brass and copper. The joint will only be as strong as the silver solder itself.7 years agoHelpful?
