I am a leathercrafter by hobby. I frequent Tractor Supply to buy high density foam sponges for dye and top coat applications as well as leather treatment. The TSC prices surely beat leathercraft stores for these items. But one day while looking through the bargain rack at the checkout, I saw this set of blades and I liked the variation of blade styles as well as the interchangeable handle...and the price was pretty fair also. The blades are great our of the box and they fit nicely into the handle and are secure when tightened down. Mind you, this wont cut packaging cardboard, but for intricate leather carving and detail work, these have held up remarkable well and cut wonderfully. Although I have not had it necessary yet, I would recommend sharpening these blades with fine sandpaper like 400 or higher grit.
