Disappointing "On Line" ordering!

I made an "On line" order for 2 boxes of "BagBalm". The order was excepted and charged to my CC. Very soon after, T. S. sent an email saying the order was reduced to 1 item to pick up. When I got to the store, they found the single item in their locker. On their shelves was exactly the same product, but with different graphics on the can for about $6 more. So I got the "close out" item at a bargain price, but paid full price for the same item off the shelf. I was told that the order was changed, probably due to their inventory being incorrect because someone stole the item. I was told the initial C.C. charge would be reduced, and it was a day later, no problem there. Theft is a big problem in stores. Is there anyway they could not accept and charge for orders for items in computer inventory, but have been stolen??
