Great binoculars, great deal

I've gotten more into birding and wanted an upgrade from our ancient 8 x 42 Bushnells and little 10 x 25 Nikon Trailblazer. These have been fantastic. Enough eye relief adjustability to work for both me and my husband (I wear glasses, he doesn't) and the clarity, field of view, and color are wonderful. The included neck strap is pretty comfy, and I really like the attached lens caps. I know these are more midrange than top of the line, but having had them for a couple months I don't see myself outgrowing them anytime soon. They're exactly what I need/want for bird and wildlife watching.

Exceptional glass

You have to compare apples to apples when it comes to optics; in this price range, these Midas G2 binos are the clearest I've seen. Period. Are they as clear as Swarovski or Leica? No, they're not. But, they're much more affordable and worked EXTREMELY well on our recent trip to Alaska. I'm impressed, to say the least.

Amazing for the price

I’ve been using these 8x42 binoculars for birding, and they work really well. The image is clear and bright, even in lower light like early morning. The 8x magnification is a good balance. It’s easy to keep birds in view without too much shake. They feel solid in hand and are comfortable to use for longer periods. The focus wheel is smooth and makes it easy to quickly adjust when birds are moving.
