[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maxiflex Precision Handling Gloves in Lightweight Nylon in the pink color handled lightweight work such as pulling poison Ivy very well. I used a shovel, clippers and pruners with these gloves, as well as pulled by hand. I accidentally cut the gloves once with my pruners at the coated fingertips and it did not tear. Since these gloves are made to be breathable and not heavy duty with a mesh (though very close knit) back, I did double up with two plastic food service gloves underneath for protection from poison Ivy irritating oils. My hands did not get any rashes. I got the size small and was anxious about them fitting as I’m usually size medium in winter gloves. But surprisingly not only did they fit exactly like they were made for my short hands, but they accepted the two thin plastic gloves I was wearing underneath. Even with the extra material the gloves did not slide around and were truly a precision fit to the point where I could perform a few more delicate tasks such as tying a knot for a kitchen garbage bag. I love this pink color too. It’s a bright bubblegum pink like breast cancer awareness shirts, and also has a cancer awareness ribbon symbol. I did not attempt to reuse these gloves because I did not want to spread around poison Ivy oil. But I think they can be reused for lighter tasks. I did appreciate the stretch knit at the wrist for a tighter, secure fit against any unwanted contact. I recommend these gloves!
