Not very healthy

I'm afraid this batch of ducks may not have been very healthy. One was already dead when I picked up the package. Three more died by nightfall. Now I have only 7 live ducks out of 20 in spite of fresh food, fresh water and temperature controlled space. I have had ducklings delivered in the past and always expect to lose a few but this was heartbreaking.

Not a good mix

I was hoping to add a mix of ducks to my already 4 Peking and 2 Rouens I got from the store because that seems to be all that Tractor Supply seems to get and they sent me 6 Pekings, 3 Rouens and 1 other that I am unsure what it is yet. I contacted the Hatchery to tell them of my disappointment in the mix and I got back a generic response that said they would let the staff know. No offer to fix the issue. I also emailed Tractor Supply to let them know and I got no response. I'm stuck with a whole lot of white ducks I guess. I won't be getting any more from Tractor Supply.

Baby Ducks

The ducks arrived all adorable. Sorry to have lost five in two days. Ten are thriving and growing too rapidly for us to keep up with them.. We did not know what to expect -never had live baby ducks before (other than two many years ago). We are still learning and hope weather permits them to begin living outside.. We have a lake and a single lonely duck awaiting their company. We did not know there would be such a mess! We love them anyway!
