So far so good. I got these boots because of the extra tie width available. Other safety toed boot's I have worn have become very uncomfortable because my outermost toe usually ends up rubbing on the edge of the safety toe in a very painful way. these boots thus far have not done so. I work in an environment where my boots are often exposed to high PH process water, so I am curious about how long they will last before they fail. the boot is comfortable, the side zip is a nice feature.

I was excited to find a work boot in a 4E by a reputable company! The boots arrived and looked great and tough! After day 1 and 2 of use, I soon learned that was at the price of comfort. First, the uppers are so stiff and thick because the zipper and zipper flap makes them less flexible and causes them to barely fit under boot cut jeans. Secondly, the soles must be made of semi steer tires. They're like bricks under the feet. When you walk, it sounds like you're wearing old style cowboy boots made of hard leather. And not too mention the hard rubber becomes cold when standing on cold concrete for any amount of time. I hope the design guys read this and eliminate the zipper as it has little function other than to get out of them easier. It's not wide enough to allow you to skip the boot on and go. Also, I hope they use a softer rubber unless they plan on these boots being used on hot asphalt all day.
