Great boots but...

I really wanted to love these boots, they're very light and comfortable and look good, but I'm afraid they just don't seem to hold up well. Within a week of use the bottom rubber section of the sole has begun to separate from the foam midsole. It also seems like the bottom rubber section is extremely thin, even when new and doesn't seem to be the same as what's pictured on the product listing.
I have seen this issue with other reviews as well, and due to the cemented construction and lack of welting, I'm unsure if these will last a year.
If the design and construction of the sole were to be changed to something similar to what Red Wing uses for their foam sole boots, then these would be a real winner! But with the cemented construction and apparent lack of durability, I feel like these boots are priced a little high.

Fix the heal rubber and the boots would be great!

3 stars because these are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned, but because of the rubber heal piece coming off at 1 month old they are also defective.
