Antirobe (Clindamycin Hydrochloride) Capsules are used to treat bacterial infections in dogs, including those affecting the bones, teeth, and soft tissues, caused by susceptible bacteria. It's sold by the capsule and is administered orally. Antirobe is FDA approved.How it Works
Clindamycin, an orally-administered medication, suppresses the reproduction and growth of bacteria.
Special Precautions
- Do not administer to pets with allergies to lincomycin or clindamycin.
- May cause diarrhea. If the diarrhea is bloody or watery, contact your veterinarian.
- This medication is effective and safe for use with other veterinarian-prescribed drugs. Discuss all medications your pet is taking, including drugs, minerals, vitamins, and supplements, with your veterinarian prior to starting clindamycin.

The most common side effects of clindamycin are diarrhea and vomiting.

Tips
If you forget a dose, administer it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume the normal administration schedule.
