The clippers did not work out of the box. you plug it in, turn it on, and there is a hum, but nothing else, no oscillating blades, does not cut. defective

purchased it online, picked it up in store, plugged it in, did not work at all. Tried different outlets, didn't work. Went back to store, returned product showing them it did not work at all and they put it RIGHT BACK ON THE SHELF.
