These film-coated, prescription-only tablets are effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria.How it Works

Amoxicillin is comparable to ampicillin because of its bactericidal effects on susceptible organisms. It works by inhibiting the biosynthesis of cell wall mucopeptides.

Special Precautions

Do not use in dogs with a history of allergic reactions to penicillin.
Only for use in cats and dogs.
Keep out of reach of animals and children.

Side Effects

Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic penicillin. It could potentially produce allergic reactions. If this occurs, immediately administer steroids and/or epinephrine.
It may also cause symptoms of stomach upset, such as diarrhea, vomiting, or stomach upset. In this case, administer with a meal.
Symptoms may lessen or disappear completely with continued use. If symptoms persist, you should notify your veterinarian.

Don't store above 77°F (25°C). Store in a dry and cool environment.
