These heavy duty 4 ft step-in fence posts will help keep your property protected when used with an electric fence system. The Fi-Shock Black 4 ft Step-In Fence Post has molded clips that hold electric fence wire & poly tape (up to 2 in wide). Each 4 ft post is molded of reinforced polypropylene with a heavy-duty steel stake. Containing extra reinforcing ribs for strength, each post also features a large step-in flange and anti-rotation spike to keep the stake from turning.

Q: Does the bottom "tab" stay on the "spike" when inserted in the ground or do you take this tab off prior to inserting in the ground?

Poor explanation. Its not 4 foot. Its 3 foot after nearly a foot goes in the ground. Got them home because yeah I assumed 4 foot was 4 foot and didnt measure.

Be aware these are 48” including the spike and top 3” that cannot be used. Effective height is only 36”. False advertising

Great for temporary fencing

Bought these to use as garden fence posts, zip tied some wire fencing to them, they're great because the posts stick in the ground and you can easily remove them, so they work perfect for a makeshift gate for garden access, also easy to completly remove and replace to access the entirety of the garden
