Upgrade from a mechanical top link to the AMA USA Category 1 Hydraulic Top Link and get more done! These tractor top links can be adjusted from the operator's seat, so there's no more getting on and off your tractor to make adjustments. The double-acting cylinder on the hydraulic top link is made in Italy and is pressure tested to ensure it'll work right out of the box.

- 3/4 in. pin holes on both ends (the piston can be rotated as needed)
- Ball width measures 1-3/4 in. (both ends of the hydraulic top link)
- Offers a minimum to maximum length of 20-7/8 to 31-7/8 in.
- Stroke measures 11 in.; cylinder bore measures 2 in.; Category 1 top link rod diameter measures 1-3/16 in.
- 1-year manufacturer's warranty guarantees against mechanical defects
- Honed and finished steel tube, chrome-plated and polished rod and top-quality seals

- A: Yes, you can use this cylinder without the check valve; however, doing so will void the warranty. The threads on the cylinder are the same as in the check valve: 3/8" BSPP.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: The current top link that I have both ends will move so that I can position it from the tractor to the implement. So my question is will one of the pin eyelets spin so that they are both in the same position and not 90 degrees out as the picture shows?

Q: Do you have a replacement part umber for the check valve assembly? I have bent the rods on the check valve and need to replace the assembly.

- A: Yes. You may obtain them through visiting your local Tractor Supply retail location. Per the manufacturer, you have two options for this issue as follows. OPTION 1 The customer can replace just the bent rods (check valve still operational) using the following AMA part numbers: 1 – 1 pc AMA p/n 05508 (hydraulic top link replacement tube kit for check valve) 2 – 2 pcs AMA p/n 02441 (compressions rings for hydraulic top link check valve) 3 – 2 pcs AMA p/n 02424 (nut for compression rings) OPTION 2 If the customer needs to also replace the check valve along with the tubing with one kit: 1 – 1 pcs AMA p/n 05165 (see picture and diagram) Please make sure to have these part numbers when visiting our store so that we may promptly obtain them on your behalf.5 years agoHelpful?

Q: Is the Working Length Range specifying the overall length or the center to center of the pins?

- A: Yes, the working length range is the measurement between pin hole centers when the cylinder is fully closed vs fully extended. SO, this particular cylinder is 20 7/8" pin center to pin center when fully retracted and 31 7/8" pin center to pin center when fully extended, meaning the cylinder has a stroke of 11".6 years agoHelpful?

I got this to replace a Turkish made and shipped from the Netherlands one that I bought online a few years ago at a discount price. This Italian made top link is so much better in quality and functionality. I spent a lot to add rear hydraulics to my tractor so that is why I went with the cheapest cylinder I could find. With the first one the swivel ball on the tractor end barely moved and the swivel on the ram end was frozen in place from being pressed too tightly in the ears. This AMA USA link has properly moving swivels on both ends and they didn’t have to be milled down to fit like some owners have mentioned.
