good holster terrible straps

this is a nice hip holster, size 3 is for larger frame guns like my 1911, the issue I have and why it gets less than 5 stars is the strap that holds the gun in, they are JUNK! plain and simple, not sure who thought of these and why they are made so rigid, but they are plastic I am guessing to pop away from the gun easier, but it is so stiff that trying to fit them into the holster breaks the snaps off and makes it useless. I have pictures here to show what happens. if the plastic was more plyable and slightly softer it might not break like this but these are so rigid that it just breaks right off
