The dog house is very nice, but the heating pad is not made to be dog proof, like some of the other brands. Within two days, my dog chewed up the heating pad and it stopped working. All of the edges of the wood are covered with metal, so there are no exposed corners for the dog to chew on, which is very good.

This is a very nice doghouse indeed. It is made from high quality materials, and it is very easy to assemble. The only downside that I can see is that the cats are now looking at me sideways...;-,)

We went to Tractor Supply and they didn’t have this model dog house in the store, so they helped us order the Extra Large dog house online while in the store. It came in a few days later and we had them assemble it. We brought it home and set it up and the heating pad didn’t work. The temperature doesn’t get above 40 degrees. We monitored it for several days. I checked the owner’s manual and there is no contact phone number listed. I went on the Aivituvin website and there is no contact phone number listed there either. So, I decided to “chat” with the online chat assistant who told me they needed my email and would be in touch. After a few days of waiting and hearing nothing I went back on the Aivituvin website and sent them an email explaining the heating pad doesn’t work. I am still waiting for a response. I think it’s strange that a business doesn’t have a phone number. Seems like they purposely don’t want to talk with customers. The dog house itself is okay but does not seem extra large. We have a German Shepherd and I can’t imagine the real large breeds fitting in it.

The heater is not what thy advertised it just plugged into 110 outlet there is no control at all
