Lovely pet home for times my pet needs to be outside. I was missing some parts-hardware screws but those were easy to replace. Tweaked the dog house some to keep my dog that is secured from a distant tie out to keep her from winding herself in and around the front porch type rail support. It definitely took longer than 30 minutes and two people at minimum should work together. My dog was scared at first of the plastic door wind break but after a few tries of going in and out, she is now fine. I bought the largest size for my spoiled 23 pound Aussiedoodle as there wasn’t any small size available even after having shipped to home. It was delivered a few days past my anticipated delivery. Quality of materials is great in my opinion. You could probably buy materials cheaper and make yourself but then you would have to account for time spent going and getting supplies and then cutting and design. The true review will tell how insulated the dog house is when winters set in here in Southwest Virginia. My use is only for hours I am at work and I don’t keep my dog outside constantly.

This went together so easily. The big bonus was that Buster Brown the Basset Hound puppy of 11 weeks went right in and the smelled around, hung out inside and then porch bound. It is so cute and funny. Now he hangs out half in and half out on the porch just checking everything out that crosses his view. Well worth getting.

It does take two to build this house, but as long as you follow instructions you should be good, I have a husky and a pitbull/lab mix and I had originally bought it for my pitbull mix, since I thought my husky wouldn’t use it. But once I build it and added her pillow, both dogs wanted to go inside, they do fit but it is a bit uncomfortable for my husky since my pit is a chunckers lol! So I might have to buy another one for my husky. Other then that I love it easy to build, sturdy and my dogs love it!
