Airmax KnockDown Defense, 2-in1 Algae & Aquatic Weed Control provides fast-acting and long-lasting control of tough invasive weeds such as duck weed, watermeal, watermilfoil, fanwort, hydrilla, as well as floating and string algae. KnockDown is an EPA registered liquid algicide / aquatic herbicide which contains 42% of the active ingredient flumioxazin. Ideal for pond algae control and aquatic weed control in ponds and lakes. This aquatic weed killer concentrate is also an effective solution in slow-moving or inactive waters such as bayous, canals, drainage ditches, reservoirs, and marshes. For best results, mix treatment in a tank sprayer with clean water and a surfactant. KnockDown is a liquid herbicide which is very versatile and breaks down quickly in water without accumulating in the sediment or clogging application sprayers. When treating floating plants and algae, evenly spray rain-size droplets over the treatment area. When treating submerged weeds and algae, submerge the spray nozzle several inches into the water. KnockDown is effective on invasive plants for ponds, aquatic weeds, and algae. Ideal for those looking for a duck weed control, lake weed control, or other solution to pond weed problems. Once nuisance algae and aquatic weeds are completely dead, it is recommended to cut and rake them away. This will prevent an accumulation of decaying vegetation which can cause regrowth later.KnockDown Defense has no temperature restriction. Apply when weeds are actively growing. In areas with dense weed vegetation, only treat 1/2 of the waterbody at one time and wait 10-14 days before treating the remaining area. Refrain from re-treating the same section of water within 28 days of application.
