Advantage Multi for Cats is a once-monthly topical product that controls and treats intestinal parasites like roundworm and hookworm, controls and treats ear mites, treats existing flea infestations, kills adult fleas, and prevents heartworm disease. It's made with imidacloprid and moxidectin, which work to eliminate current and new infestations. It also helps to control ear mites, prevent heart disease and treat flea allergy dermatitis. Reapply monthly to give them year-round protection.How it Works
Advantage Multi for Cats combines moxidectin and imidacloprid, which are topical endectocide and insecticide agents that offer one month of control and treatment of roundworms, hookworms, heartworms, and fleas. It can also control ear mites.
Special Precautions
- Do not ingest orally.
- Never apply to irritated skin.

Side Effects
Potential side effects include:
- Coughing
- Increased water consumption
- Increased salivation for an hour following treatment
- Application site discomfort (scratching, rubbing, etc.)
- Pacing
- Hiding
- Excessive grooming
- Agitation
- Prolonged periods of sleep
- Lethargy
- Decreased appetite
- Vomiting
- Tremors
- Increased salivation
Avoid heat or cold. Store between 4°C (39°F) and 25°C (77°F).
Tips
For 30 minutes following application, monitor the cat to be sure that they cannot lick the application site and ingest product from other treated cats or themselves. Treated cats should be separated from each other and from any other pets in the home to diminish the risk of accidentally ingesting.
