Suprisingly very comfortable. There is a large padded arch support inside the boot. I bought these for chainsawing and splitting wood. I was tired of dropping logs on my toes. Used them last week and my feet felt great after hours of working. I was on the fence over how the high sides would feel but it was fine. Actually supports your ankle more when you start stepping over and onto trunks as your cutting. Seem to be made well too. It was wet and sloppy out and no water ever madenit inside the boot. Very pleased with the qualty and fit. Wish i bought some a year ago.

I really wanted to love these boots. Unfortunately, the toe box gives me pain every day. After about 6 weeks, I’m giving up and will look for a different boot.
