I had never used this before, but the reviews were great, and the "Why we love this" on
SmartPak's website was very convincing. But after I bought it and read the label, it said, "This product can expose you to o-Phenylphenol, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer." I tried it anyway with mask and gloves, just in case it really was a miracle product. But no, it left my tack terribly gummy and sticky, which did not "simply wipe away with a damp sponge" as instructed. I had to clean my tack all over again.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A must have for antique saddles

I have a 100+ year old saddle and I regularly clean/treat with this product. My saddle is still in great/working condition and I think this product is half the reason. Absolutely worth every penny
