Meet Leah Chester-Davis

Leah Chester-Davis grew up on a farm and loves to garden. She is a frequent visitor to public, private and research gardens to interview other gardeners and horticulturists about their gardens, research and areas of expertise. She founded and edited a monthly gardening publication for North Carolina State University. Extension’s Successful Gardener, which she edited for 10 years, won numerous awards, including recognition from the Garden Writers Association. She also edited “The Successful Gardener Guide,” published by Blair Publisher.

She has completed the Master Gardener certification training and employs proven, research-based information and techniques in her work. She writes extensively about gardening, food, and farm topics, creating content for plant nurseries, and contributing to gardening, agricultural, and lifestyle magazines.
