Help to keep the whole farm happy and well-fed with Tractor Supply’s selection of premium livestock feed and treats. With a food selection that is rich in key ingredients such as protein, fiber and carbohydrates, you can help your animals thrive with a healthy and hardy diet. When your animals need a little more from their diet, our selection of livestock supplements can enhance the vitamin and mineral uptake of your animals. While nutrients are vital for your livestock’s health, a treat can go a long way in keeping your farm animal friends happy.

Feeding The Farm with Livestock Feed

  • Cattle: Keep your cattle well-fed by meeting all their nutrition needs with premium cattle feed. While a majority of your cattle’s diet should be composed of forage, other feeds, such as pelleted feed, sweet feed and block feed, can be great additions to a cow’s diet when forage is not enough. You can also supplement your cattle’s diet with magnesium, salt, protein and fiber to further ensure their nutrition. To learn more about cattle feeding, consult our Cattle Feeding 101 Guide

  • Goat and Sheep: Most goat feed should be traditional hay, but when a higher protein alternative is necessary, consider hay composed of alfalfa and clover. Sheep on the other hand can thrive on a diet primarily composed of roughage supplemented with salt and other minerals.

  • Pig: When it comes to feeding pigs, you can choose from three primary forms of pig feed: sweet, pelletized and block. The right feed for your swine is dependent on their dietary and lifestyle needs as well as their intended target weight. Target weight plays a huge role in determining both the quantity and type of food you feed your pig. Sweet feed is great for fattening up pigs, while standard pelletized feed is better for weight maintenance.

  • Rabbit: Rabbits have very sensitive dietary needs that require more than just hay and a few vegetables. Instead, rabbits require a multifaceted and nutrient-rich diet. Store-bought rabbit food is an easy way to meet the nutritional needs of your rabbit. Along with hay, you may also want to supplement their diet with leafy greens, such as basil, dill or celery, and, on occasion, a sweet treat, such as a peeled banana, berry or an apple.

From raising cattle to feeding your rabbit, you can trust that Tractor Supply will help you to get the job done right. With our subscription feed service, you don’t have to worry about running out of your animal’s feed, and our bulk discounts can help you save in the long run.
