Great size for my yard. Easy to operate. Good turning radius.

The mower has done well for the season and a half that I’ve had it. It DOES NOT like fuel with ethanol in it. It would start running extremely ruff and die a lot. Since I went to nonehanol fuel I haven’t had a single issue with it.

I have less than 10 hours on the mower and it will not run for more than 10 minutes at a time before it starts sputtering and then backfires and dies. I also purchased the two year warranty and was told to call some number in India. Now waiting for a callback. Absolutely ridiculous. I have put every bit of money I had into this and now can't mow. Whose going to pay the fine when my lawn isn't mowed in a couple of weeks? Hand mowing an acre is not an option.

Had been sitting outside a long time. Had sludge in fuel tank and a dead battery and no key. Had to drive an hour to where it was shipped from to get a key.

In the short amount of time and number of mowings the Troy Bilt has been excellent!

two and a half years with this mower. Starts and runs good uses very little oil. my biggest complaint is the mower deck is too thin. The support for one of the pulleys came out of the deck the weld didn't break the deck did it has broken tree times now. all that welding seems have softened the metal around the repair. i have a much older troy built and the deck is heavier you can feel it.but over all its cheaper than hiring a lawn service

Good mower! Great deck hight! No dragging on the gravel road i live on! Has a good amount of power for its size. Took some getting used to with the transmission set up. The head lights are always on, not a bad feature. I would buy another one when this one dies!

I read some where that a con on this mower was that the seats are slippery. I fined this not true. It is what you wear that makes the seats slippery. Mowed my big lawn 5 times and no problem with cotton shorts or sweat pants. Today, I mowed with polyester shorts and slid all over the seat. Didn't get a chance to mow the hill till I changed shorts. This is my opinion of slippery seats.

The delivery company used out of Bemidji, MN by Tractor Supply gave us 4 delivery dates and did not keep them. On the 5th attempt, we finally received the delivery. When I spoke to a lady at the delivery company, I got the impression that the failure to keep the delivery date to her was not a problem. I would buy from Tractor Supply again but not if it would require delivery.

I bought this mower after it was marked down on clearance as it was the last one. The sales associate told me it was 'as is' and when I asked did that mean it was used, he told me it just meant no warranty or returns. Before it even got delivered they cancelled the delivery at the store because the fuel tank was leaking and not holding fuel. Apparently they knew this and did not disclose that important bit of info before selling it to me. I did get a full refund.

Very easy-to-use

I have a 21 year old 42 inch Pony ran great and still cuts fine. I just needed an upgrade to a newer model.

Very easy to operate. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done and saves a lot of time for sure. Very dependable little tractor for a big but not to big of a lawn. Very happy that I decided to get this at Tractor Supply.

Product seems to be well made.

Bought this brand new have mowed with it 4 times and now it won’t stay running after awhile it snuffs itself out

Purchased this lawn mower in September of 2024 so only cut twice that year. Used it the summer of 2025 and it did fine for a cheaper rider. Did the maintenance as required according to the manual and went to use it this year and found that the carburetor failed and Fuel had drained into the crankcase. Looked into the manufacturer's and extended warranty i purchased. I have been trying to get it fixed for over 2 weeks now and with about a dozen call's to "Power Plus" / "White Eagle" and the Manufacturer. They have denied the repair claim and will not fix the unit stating that the maintenance was not done (there way of getting out of the repair). I did receive a case number but not sure what it s now. I should have read the comment further down that had the same exact issue with the rider. Do not recommend buying from Tractor Supply as they use some foreign company for warranties.

Waiting on hold over 30 min each day no one came to phone about my warranty.i was hung up on .

Mower was delivered without an instruction manual, not happy! You have to disengage cutting blades in order to back up, sucks!

Mr. Nelson, CEO of Stanley, Black n Decker Troy-Bitl. I just wanted to take a moment to share a compliment about Troy-Bilt. I have owned my 2022 Troy-Bilt lawnmower, and it has honestly been the best mower I have ever had. I have used it far beyond normal grass cutting — bush-hogging rough areas, climbing hills, pulling, hauling water, hitting rough ground, puncturing tires, and even cutting through small trees around two and a half inches wide. Through all of that, it has never quit. It is definitely rough-looking now, but it still starts every time and still cuts grass like it should. I am getting ready to buy a new mower today, and I wanted someone in leadership to know that this Troy-Bilt has earned my respect. Thank you for building a machine that has truly lasted.

Bought it and tried to load it on my trailer at the store. The engine constantly reved and jumped. Left it in the parking lot and got and got a refund.

troy built quality I it's the only mower I looked at that actually had a metal hood. all the others were plastic. many safety options like not backing up with mower on, the price was actually $200 more than the next competitor's model, but it was all plastic body.

It is a good mower. Cuts really good

Great little mower for a great price. Only complaint I have would be it didn't come with enough bolts to hold the seat on. Sadly, when I called, they stated that is how many comes with the seat. For me three holes means three bolts, but I guess it really only means one.

I bought this tractor Brad new in 2024, I had to replace the battery after 1 year, I replaced it with the exact same battery, last year I put it on a charger, in spring didn’t start even after charging, now I have to charge it after every use.

Issues with the mower associate was not helpful at all

I purchased the Troy Built rider mower because it was made by MTD. For years I have owned MTD products and have had no issues. During my second running of the Troy Built, I lost "drive." It just stopped for no apparent reason. After about 15 minutes, the transaxle drive returned without any further issues. I am still "unsure."

Was delivered very timely and has been a very reliable lawn mower since I purchased it.

Great little mower. Works great for small yards. Easy on gas and oil. Steering is good and speed selection is just right.

I love my tractor, it's powerful and easy to turn. I like that you can set it so you can mow backwards to get those weird spots. The service man Neil was great, when the tractor was delivered there was a pallet staple in the tire. I called the store and told him. He came out to the house and brought a replacement tire on a rim. Luckily the staple didn't go all the way through, so there was no need to replace the tire. I highly recommend them.
