Not what I expected

I bought this fuel tank and got it installed. Then I noticed it did not sit the same as the original one. It took a few minutes but I found it is designed quite different from the original one. It does not align properly in several areas due to the design change. I had to redesign the installation to level the tank. I am disappointed there were not instructions and not warning of this not being a match for the original fuel tank.
