Most natural landscape will vary in depth and the difference between 2 inches of depth to 4 inches of depth will mean you need more pebbles. Q: I would like to scatter these over the top layer of salt and pepper gravel area of 15x20 foot area for decoration. Are they flat enough to step on with bare feet and how many bags would I need? Do they hold the white color?

While these rocks are white. They are packaged in a white powder that gets on everything and obscures the actual size of rhe rocks.. The size listed is very off. More than Half of the rocks in the 3 bags I ordered totaling about 180 rocks in 90 lbs. are 4-6 inches or more in sizes. 2 rocks of 180 were 2-3 inches the rest were 3-4 inches.

Color is different than picture

Color in website image is misleading.
Photo color looks to be brown/tan.
Actual color is cream.
Salesperson said the products differ from the pics.
