It doesn't dig into the paper and I have been using it for a couple days now before i've reviewed it and it seems to be doing absolutely awesome.I would absolutely recommend it.

The 0.5mm tip writes super smooth and gives crisp, clean lines every time and good balance. No skipping, no smudging, just reliable, sharp writing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m usually a regular ballpoint 1.0 or 1.4 girl but o wanted to try out a gel ink pen. The pen its self is nice and feels pretty smooth in general but it does not work with my writing style. My handwriting is more big and bubbly, and I tend to put some pressure to the paper, with the gel pen it feels scratchy. Not the bed fit for me, but I think this would be great for someone else. You definitely have to wait a little for it to dry so it does not smudge.
