Borrowed neighbors spray I have been inundated with these creatures on my deck bird feeders and after two spraying's have not had 1 squirrel on my deck or near any bird feeder.

This doesn't work, nor does hot pepper. The only thing that works is a pellet gun.

Squirrel Stopper Frustration

I purchased this product to stop the squirrels from eating the pumpkins I have displayed on my front porch. It worked beautifully until we had drenching rains over the past week, and then the squirrels started eating the pumpkins again. It states right on the can that it is weatherproof and to re-apply every 30 days. The coating that I applied lasted less than 10 days. I went to re-apply another coat yesterday, and the sprayer just stopped working. I ran hot water over the nozzle and tried inserting a needle in the hole of the nozzle in case it was clogged, but that didn’t work. So now I’m left with an almost full can of Squirrel Stopper that doesn’t work. I plan to return it to my local store.

Animal Repellent

We special ordered the squirrel repellent but it is really no different than the other repellents for deer or rabbits. It’s basically a peppermint odor that most animals do not like. Retreating becomes burdensome and the animals will return when the odor has dissipated.

What a waste of time and money after reading reviews of people with success i was encouraged. I went to Tractor Supply and ordered 2 cans. I was excited when it arrived but quickly disappointed. Squirrels were RIGHT in the area i sprayed within an hour and the chipmunks were munching away at the birdseed. Also right where i sprayed. This is my 4th birdfeeder and the 2nd one that discourages squirrels but they are so committed to getting the seed nothing works. Coconut oil worked for a day..but a BB Gun may be more effective at this point.
